About the product

ELS is a platform with a CRM system for companies engaged in the organization of events, created to facilitate the process of event management.

About the client

ELS is the US-based company, the main activity of which is the organization of events. Starting from creating and using a CRM system for their needs, they intend to sell this system for other companies.

Customer request

The client wanted to build an easy-to-use, but powerful system for better organization of work of a large amount of staff with different levels of access.

Nerdysoft goal was to develop the following:

  • A CRM system for creating, and tracking different types of events (birthdays, festivals, weddings, etc.)

  • The system should cover the functionality where the manager can create a certain event and assign the responsible staff for that event

  • Staff should receive email/SMS notifications for the assignment and also should be able to confirm/reject it

  • The users of the system should be able to create and update the data that is related to the event such as contacts, vendors, brokers, vehicles, etc

Approach

Process of designing and developing the system was done from scratch. Together with the customer our team discussed all goals, specifications and needs of the platform. Regular syncs and demo presentations helped us always be on the same page.

Build a project that should serve its goal for various types of users

Solution: our team build a permission matrix and adapt design for all users so the product works best for each user

Implement custom email and SMS sending

Solution: integration with the third-party and accomplish custom emails and SMS module which allow users to change everything starting from the text ending with pictures inserting

Make the system
flexible

Solution:  implementing variety custom fields all over the system which allow users every tab being adjusted for them

Some of the main features are:

  • Easy filling the database of clients, brokers, vehicles etc.
  • Assigning staff directly in app
  • Adding custom fields for better individualization
  • 6 types of user roles with different level of access
  • Organizing events, managing finances and saving files in one system

Soon, we are planning to launch more exciting and revolutionary features for ELS, so stay tuned.
