Looking for a talented Java Engineer to join our Nerdy team!
We offer a great and challenging opportunity to participate in the project launch and cooperate with our clients from Real Estate and Logistics in the USA.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience working with the Java language
- Knowledge of Java and its ecosystem (Framework Spring, Hibernate, Junit, JSON)
- Experience with SQL databases
- Knowledge of algorithms
- Result-oriented and the ability to learn quickly
- Knowledge of data structure, multithreading and multi-tier architecture
- English level — B1 and higher
Would be a plus:
- System stabilization and support
- Direct communication with the client
- Design, planning and development of new functionality
- System scaling
- Mentoring junior developers if needed
Responsibilities:
- Oversee requirement negotiations, project planning, design reviews, and feature implementation.
- Work with the development teams to produce rich enterprise-class SaaS applications
- Break down a large/complex problem, quickly derive an efficient design, document and implement the core framework, and hand off the simple components to junior staff.
- Work directly with the product team to better understand gaps that need to be filled within the team.
- Develop and/or maintain applications utilizing JAVA development tools.
- Work directly with product management and customer success to help determine and solve customer needs for our products.
About the projects
Project 1
Our team is starting cooperation with a new client — a property information services company that operates throughout the Northeastern region of the US. The main goal is to provide timely and accurate title data to lenders, title insurance agencies, real estate lawyers, developers and other real estate professionals. Together we will work on improving and automating the search process, ensuring the speed and accuracy of the services provided.
Project 1
For our client, we are developing a complex B2B marketplace platform for direct trade for the large manufacturers of stone and porcelain tiles in India to sell their products to wholesale buyers and retail chains in the USA. Product functionality covers communication, logistics, payments, quality control of the production process, etc. without involving any third parties. The following steps are developing a consolidated containers option, integration with the Stripe payment processor and engaging a logistics provider.
